Dear Friends,

Sometimes in life, circumstances align to put us in the direct path of serendipity and grace. At times such as these, the Universe seems to conspire to bless us…if only we will open ourselves to receive; releasing attachment to other ideas and plans, and making way for possibility beyond previously-held dreams.

Such has been my experience with becoming the Executive Director of A Network for Grateful Living. From the beginning, the Board and staff oversaw the process of finding their next leader with a rigor and integrity equaled only by their kindness and generosity of spirit. The process itself was such a profound example of the values and mission in action that, in the end, there was no other answer for me than a wholehearted “YES.”

I feel tremendously fortunate to be able to take my seat at the table of this important organization, following on the heels of the dedicated and devoted leadership that has come before me, and to sit beside the esteemed colleagues whose company I now get to keep. Our table is set for a global community of committed friends and is festooning with resources to nourish this growing movement of grateful living. I am honored and excited to be of service to the organizational vision that is at hand, and to facilitate the necessary next steps that will help us grow to serve a world and a future that hunger deeply for the greatest gifts A Network for Grateful Living has to offer.

There will be abundant opportunities for us to get to know each other in this next year, and beyond. There is much to do. We have plans to increase the ways that you will be able to engage, participate, interact, act, and join with us and people the world over who are committed to gratefulness. We will keep you apprised as we proceed and grow. Please stay “attuned” and connected in whatever ways you can.

I look forward to bringing my dedicated leadership to the next phase of A Network for Grateful Living. I bow to the power of the founding values, the visionary mission, and the sacred practice of gratefulness as my guidance. This is the work of my heart.

With gratefulness beyond words
