Gratefulness
A man at our church comes to my mind, rather a new member. He started cooking for all the church meals; then he started inviting homeless people to come in and eat with us; then he started giving some of these people a hand up; then he invited them to come and sit with him in church. Maybe something transformative can happen in this place after all.
I think my heart yearns for nothing more than what I have. I’m just not sure how to let go of the expectation of desire!
