Gratefulness
I am grateful for what little I have today, the love of a boyfriend, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes on my back, and a school to go to. I am also grateful for finding this site, though I haven’t been here long already it has helped me a lot through some hard times I faced.
If I knew I had only one year to live, I would start getting and saving as much money as I could to buy a plane ticket, and I would make sure I had enough money to buy myself clothes and the things I need to bring with me. I would take a plane to see my boyfriend and I would spend the rest of the year with him, going places, doing things and having fun. I don’t want to die without having been able to see my boyfriend in person.
The glimmer of hope and happiness in the eyes of a lover, the flake of innocence in the eye of a child. The knowledge that no matter what, I know someone out there loves me for who I really am and won’t tell me to change for them.
I remember feeling serenity when I went up to the mountains, the fresh air and the smell of pine trees, the small coffee shops and the sound of birds, the light coming through the leaves on the trees. It was relaxing and it was really nice.
Hehehe, I do too. I wish I had one. 😀
You really think so Anna?
