Gratefulness
My support network. Going through a particularly tough time that I solely can’t really shift myself out of, I’ve started to notice all the beautiful ways others around me are doing it instead. It’s the simplest things, but they mean a lot and I can almost feel the good intention behind it which is so inspiring and uplifting.
To me it allows a sense of belonging and the ability to see others as a source of inspiration. If we’re all from the same thing, and we’re all going the same direction, these people aren’t just other ducks on the pond their lessons, teachings, guidance and most importantly someone to share with. That’s big and beautiful. That person on the side walk? That’s family.
I can forgive myself. I can forgive for not being perfect, for not always having the answers, for not feeling the creative vibes for every single project. I can forgive myself for not feeling like working, and being exhausted. I can forgive myself for procrastinating and for being anxious. I can forgive myself for being overwhelmed and even sad. I can forgive myself for not living up to the expectations of myself that I set so high. I can allow myself to be exactly as I am!
