Gratefulness
I cherish my family singing “sto lat”! Sto lat is a traditional Polish Birthday song that is sung to express good wishes, good health and long life to a person.
Sto lat! Sto lat! Niech zyje, zyje nam. Sto lat! Sto lat! Niech zyje, zyje nam. Jeszcze raz! Jeszcze raz! Niech zyje, zyje nam. Niech zyje nam. Niech ci? gwiazdka pomyslnosci nigdy nie zagasnie …
I’m waiting for my lunch time to eat a dessert! One chocolate of 70% cocoa.
I’m suffering with some familiar problems. My heart is broken and sometimes I can’t appreciate the beauty in my life. I think I’ll be not able to stand up. But, when I feel my breathing, when I really pay attention on it, I can appreciate the life, the events… and everything sounds amazing again! And I realize every colors, formats, tastes… “I see trees of green, red roses too skies of blue and clouds of white The bright blesse...

Probably I’ll notice different points of view and I’ll have the opportunity to learn with their stories. Good exercise to thinking about life and to respect others.
Very nice question. I believe the most part of my problems would be finish if I could give up the need to be right. In my situation it is necessary, to practice it, because I’m very critical, and I suffer.
I’m truly grateful for drinkable water, for food on the table everyday. The incredible comfort of using the bathroom, the shower. It’s impossible to receive it and don’t remember how many people around the world don’t experience it.
Dear Brother David
Thank you so much for your words and perspective.
Today I noticed a dragonfly with problems; it got stuck inside my kitchen. I helped and it flew away. I felt so happy because this is simple, so simple and so wonderful; every life.
My life is better since I living gratefully, thank you!

. And bees that visit me in sometimes. I’m really grateful for the house where I live, is my home sweet home.
And I truly felt at home when I find family or friends and they received me with the open arms. A hug made me felt at home.
I believe the place where I’m living nowadays is my first home. The house is a little house. It’s perfect. Colorful walls, there is a window in the kitchen, my special space, I cook, I observe the garden, the birds, read… During the night is quiet, so I can sleep very well because is very quiet. In the mornign I wake up with the rooster’s song. I love it! Now I have some little trees: Papaya, raspberry, blackberry and acerola.
My love in God. Feeling in my heart the true grateful love. This love help me in order to solve my problems, make me strong to keep walking and appreciate the life.
Dear Toni
I enjoyed every single word and feeling… very deep and sincere. Thanks for sharing it.
I desire to be simple, to live in the present moment with all my heart. Simple in my thoughts, words and actions. Give the same respect that I would like to receive. Learn and practice the balance in order to share the best of who I am with the world.
Dear Art Your words are so sweet and deep! I could hear the voice of your heart; a grateful heart. With lovely words you showed how to see and to feel the beauty around you. The life is now, right now when we are being awake and being present. You are an amazing person. My best wishes for you, with fraternal love. 🙂
I’m sitting here in my kitchen, in a hot winter day, reading about the event and imaging how it was beautiful and special. It’s so nice read about the Brother David’s legacy and about all involves the Network for Grateful Living. Amazing. Lovely and friendly as a big family. Even I’m so far I feel like a guest in this special celebration. The world needs love, peace and you provide it. Thank you 🙂 With fraternal love, Cintia from Brazil.
It’s just amazing! Wonderful, lovely, so careful. Touched my heart. Thank you 🙂
Hi Guri Mehta! Very nice reflection. I agree with your observation: Maybe, like all of us, they’re just trying, and being human the best that they can. We never know how people feel and how much ghosts living into them, so we try to respect them. It’s not easy but we need try. Love and compassion is better than hate. Thanks for shanring your nice thoughts.
Beautiful reflection. Thanks for sharing.
… Imagine standing at the edge of the sea with the moon brightly shining behind you.
This question make me thinking how much time I spent standing at the edge. I would like to navigate in this ocean with the sea and the moon around me, hugging me. And then another day comes, the sunshine gives me a kiss of good morning.
🙂
Lovely 🙂
