Gratefulness
Overcoming negativity bias (which apparently evolution wired us for!) requires prescence, mindfulness and of course gratitude. It is recommended that we spend more time savouring over the good things we experience. Here’s an article I found with more tips https://daringtolivefully.com/overcoming-negativity-bias
Shine 🙂 Will be a reminder of my inner light where gratitude springs from.
To be compassionate and fully present with it, no running, deflecting or burying it.
My Husband, he is the sweetest most kind and gentle man, a superb father and I am grateful for every day of our 30+ years together
This question has reminded me pause and reflect with compassion. I spoke with a relative this morning whom I’d been feeling angry towards, instead I listened to her and didn’t judge her or myself. As a result the conversation was uplifting and supportive for both of us. I am really grateful for these wonderful questions and supportive community that bring out the best in me.
As much as I can! I like this concept, it will help to remove the many filters our brain uses as shortcuts that stop me being in the moment.
My loved ones. My sight and hearing.
I think I would be living more in the present moment.
I think coming here and reading others contributions helps me focus on the good in people. I’m also getting ready for a wedding which will be a lovely celebration day in family and friends uniting in love.
Loving relationships are sacred to me and greatfulness and loving kindness practise is the best preservation. I also read today that scientists have actually measured structural changes in the brains of people who practise this frequently!
Being able to appreciate the newness of every single moment is the greatest gift.
Family, health and emotional wealth

Each crises is an opportunity to embrace another aspect of myself. Each opportunity is just that another opportunity to emerge stronger and wiser even when it feels like a cruel circle it is an unfolding spiral and I can choose which direction.. gratitude will take me upwards. Gratitude is a GreatAttitude!
Do it! It’s a great feeling. I sometimes skip dance when I listen to music on my headphones when walking, it creates many smiles! and whether they are with me or at me matters not.
Yes Kevin I agree, I struggle to think why I would filter out or sensor my expression of gratefulness.
Yes I did! I answered the first one and now it’s gone.
Yes I totally agree! It’s been a while since I visited this site and a TED talk I just watched reminded me.
