Having new eyes is a powerful expression. As I get older I say to myself’ I’ve seen it all’ how presumptious of me? Each dawn is a new beginning. I am going to write down each day something I’m grateful for and so often I’ve taken it for granted.

Reflecting on the theme of this week The Glimpse has sparked a lot of memories for me. Just last night after a very rainy day as I was washing the dishes at 8.30 p.m. with the light on, suddenly I turned it off. I had to do this as a brighter light (the sun setting) appeared in the sky and only for a short while before it set. This changed everything for me and the surprise of it and the ‘glimpse’ changed the experience of ‘my routine’.
