Gratefulness
I realise I know more about holding back than I do about wholeheartedness. I fear the abandon it asks and the risking that David also talks about. The closest I get to this wholeheartedness is probably when I fall in love with the person or group I work with. It is as if judgement fades and makes way for warmth and compassion – I see the other as myself and feel total acceptance and appreciation for the moment.
