When you live a grateful life, I feel it rubs off on other people. Being grateful allows you to understand what is truly important and forces you to slow down and appreciate life for its moments. We often tend to forget just how important we are to one another due to life, social media, and moving on with our lives a little too fast. Everyone has a unique perspective and we usually fail to see the beauty in it all. Being grateful allows me to understand that life is a huge puzzle and we each are an equally important piece of the puzzle. Let’s focus on building each other up rather than leaving each other out.
I feel the simple things in life are amazing but sometimes we lose sight of that. We feel they are ordinary and typical. Taking the time to value and appreciate the simple things a bit more creates a mental barrier from depression, boredom, and many other negative emotions we tend to feel. The ordinary things tend to be the extraordinary things when looking through the correct optics. Appreciate the small things now for later in life you will realize they were the big things!
