Pilgrim is not a name I am aware of having had as an adult and it is a long time since i used the Christian to name myself and i have never read Pilgrims progress … and yet since i started this lesson i have found myself singing John Bunyon’s words to the song which in my head i named To be a Pilgrim but in the hymn book is called He who would Valiant be … and I am enjoying avowing my intent to be a pilgrim Thank you everyone and David x2 especially Kx

Who would true valour see,

One here will constant be,

There’s no discouragement
Shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent
To be a pilgrim.
Whoso beset him round
With dismal stories
