Gratefulness

Dumpster diving, to the point of hoarding almost. In fact, right now I got a load of junk in my condo! A few items I keep, but the rest I give away, mostly to the Goodwill, and then I write it off my taxes. It also helps to save landfill. It is amazing how wasteful people are nowadays! 90% of the stuff I find needs little or no repair and cleaning. One of my favorite finds from last year was a Vornado fan in perfect condition, which I still use a lot. I have also found numerous vacuum cleaners and fixed them up (including the one I kept). I have even found a power inflatable guest bed, which works with only a slight leak. Today I found a couple of big wall hanger impressionist(?) paintings (a first, though no doubt prints).
Also, I talk to my “pet” inflatable rubber ball, Geneva. Doing so helps me feel young, and helps put a limiter on my negativity. Because it helps me to externalize my problems. When I get negative, she would say “are we being negative again?” Yet, she is negative in her own right! ????…You got a problem with my negativity, just look in the mirror! (see what I mean?)
I feel much the same way!
