There are people who keep the water running, pick up the garbage, make the GPS and cell towers work…there are all kinds of people who keep the world running and civilization running…including me.

That wasn’t always the case. In native villages the only people that are “in the background” keeping things working were people that you knew. Your tribe, your people were the only ones. Now there is so much more and everyone has a part. Some add more than others and some people just take instead of giving, but I can pass those gifts onto others by being a part of the world and contributing.
