Gratefulness
As I am grateful for the qualities I do have and skills that are innate to me, if I could embody the qualities of someone I truly admire, that someone would be my mother. One quality in particular that I love about my mother is how she is simple and open-hearted.
My mom is always willing to give and that is the best quality about her. I believe this where I began to learn about committing acts your heart. Sometimes my mother may give a little too much and knows she leaves herself open...
My mom is always willing to give and that is the best quality about her. I believe this where I began to learn about committing acts your heart. Sometimes my mother may give a little too much and knows she leaves herself open to being taken advantage. Still, she says that God knows and he watches. As all that concern miraculously disappeared.
I do my best to live simply and open-hearted like my mother and I am humbled to have been her student my entire life. I am grateful that she has influenced a lot of my belief patterns and have kept naive for a very long time. I love how she has taught me to enjoy the little moments in life and its nothing to sweat over unless you have to but even then, “just be that rock in the water.”
Miraculous. I would describe miraculous as an event which brings a truth awakening moment to one’s life and changes one’s beliefs. I believe miracles happen every day. Maye not as big as some events but there are miracles. Today’s little miracle was noticing a change in the kid’s approach to math. Miraculous. I would describe miraculous as an event which brings a truth awakening moment to one’s life and changes one’s beliefs. I believe miracles happen every day. Maye not as big as some events but there are miracles. Today’s little miracle was noticing a change in the kid’s approach to math. The kid absolutely hates math and does everything imaginable to escape it and that is no joke. I am glad that he is starting to approach it with a little more seriousness and I enjoyed watching him try to solve the math problem. I also loved the look of accomplishment when he knows he solved the problem correctly. This tiny event of feeling the accomplishment is a miracle and I am grateful for moments like this. I appreciate the obstacles I had to overcome to teach the kid in a way that is approachable for him to learn. Something I know I can take away from this act is knowing he has the desire to learn and that in itself is miraculous.
It is funny that today’s gratitude would be about what I joked about earlier with a worker at the YMCA which is improvisation or the word I used today – “speechcraft” Which speech is only part of the improv but the crafting is total part improvisation. I love that in improvisation, there is only one golden rule,”YES, AND” and then there is the silver rule of acting, “React and Respond” These two rules are a deadly combination in any form of live entertainment. What I enjoy...
What I enjoy most about improvisation is that one constantly learns to grow, problem solve, adapt, communicate without knowing. One becomes open to receive, courageous to give, brave to take risks …. Life…improvisation is a skill most used to learn in life – to win at life. Sometimes, it’s not all fun and laughs, sure you make mistakes but the person one is with, the partner in the situation is there to help figure things out, even when one’s partner is not seen at all. What made me fall in love with improv and acting is the mystery of … DISCOVERY … and to bring others along the journey to discover adventures with you. I enjoy sharing my passion with others because it allows them a chance to a break for a couple of hours and recharge the soul and fill it with emotions, laughter, creativity, wonder, etc… I have the chance to help heal the soul to embrace another day to survive. I am grateful to have learned the craft and have practiced this craft for 20 years. I appreciate all my teachers before me and those still yet to come.
The way I can offer my gifts to the world is to begin replanning and restructuring workshops that I can teach to improve or establish the fundamentals of improvisation. I can also off my gifts to be present for the fellow members of my health group and help to guide and inspire them to reach their life goals. Today I have decided to set up a scheduled training plan through an app that allows me to schedule their workouts, allows the members to track and record their workouts, meals, and stats...

I am excited to provide this service for them.
A gift in my challenging adventure is the gift of commitment and dedication to have established new health goals. Another gift in my journey is the gift of enforcement to carry out initiated goals and the gift of reinforcement to continue to drive my wants to reach my goals. A gift I most appreciate is the gift of support from family, friends, and everyday people I see in my environment like the gym. I appreciate their awareness of my progress even at times when I don’t recognize it.
