Gratefulness
From my ancestors, I have received the gift of endurance and the ability to move, crawl, claw my way forward when adversity strikes. I have not endured anything to the extent of what they did, but in my modern day life their endurance and fortitude and never giving up even when it seemed the only option has propelled me through some life challenges I didn’t see coming and immediately found myself in the midst of. From my ancestors, I have received the gift of endurance and the ability to move, crawl, claw my way forward when adversity strikes. I have not endured anything to the extent of what they did, but in my modern day life their endurance and fortitude and never giving up even when it seemed the only option has propelled me through some life challenges I didn’t see coming and immediately found myself in the midst of. I could have chosen to sink, but with the knowledge of their lives I choose to swim or at least drift with the current. I am forever grateful this is the lesson I received.
