While this offering is very kind, there is also a deep irony…it seems actual connection is what is truly needed—to be outside IN the natural world, listening, smelling, tasting, feeling, watching the birds, coming to know (and love) the ways of all the Others. There is so much more that happens to us when we are actually experiencing the Others. And, if we are to save them, the land, we need to be having much more intimate, real connection. Perhaps there is a way to offer recordings that...
While this offering is very kind, there is also a deep irony…it seems actual connection is what is truly needed—to be outside IN the natural world, listening, smelling, tasting, feeling, watching the birds, coming to know (and love) the ways of all the Others. There is so much more that happens to us when we are actually experiencing the Others. And, if we are to save them, the land, we need to be having much more intimate, real connection. Perhaps there is a way to offer recordings that actually encourage people to go and find the sounds (music) being recorded?
