Gratefulness
Gratefulness brings love to its completion inside our human spirit.
to be reminded of the amazing, energizing and peace-giving reality – that everything before me, no matter what it may be, no matter how mundane, is part of life, and is on the side of growth, in that it can be used for growth, since all of life is ‘growing’. To be reminded that all that is before me during the day is part of the flow of life, and can be used to learn from, and each plays a part in the unfolding of life, no matter how ‘unconnected’ it may seem. To be reminded that all that is before me during the day is part of the flow of life, and can be used to learn from, and each plays a part in the unfolding of life, no matter how ‘unconnected’ it may seem. Being reminded of this opens me up, where in any given case it’s easy to close up unconsciously in little ways, forgetting that all of life IS LIFE which by it’s very nature is alive, growing, and part of a sacred flow. YES ????
“Each day is a fresh page to write on.” The past is dead, true freedom, salvation, liberation, is one of the inner life, free from the past! “Each day is a fresh page to write on.” The past is dead, true freedom, salvation, liberation, is one of the inner life, free from the past! I’m 26 and to some that may seem very young, but it’s the oldest I’ve ever been ???? so sometimes it’s easy to think ‘what have i done with my life so far? what am i doing? and be filled with dwelling in the past, what could have been what could be different. But i heard someone say something that really hit me in a fresh way the other day, along the lines of – “the past is gone, start living today the way you want to. You are free to create it. You are a creator, new and alive each day.” The past is exactly that, it passed. Bondage is to bind yourself (or another) to the past, something that is dead, it is no longer. This is even settling in me as i write this. Life is always doing something new. There is the age old earth with all of it’s history, but at the same time it’s always being reborn, each year, each season, each day, each sunrise, is fresh as it’s always been, it’s new each time around. It’s amazing that we are given free will and the deepest essence of what is truth, is freedom from the past, it’s completely alive and free. So that is empowering to me, to do something new, uncharted, unexperienced, to go after a passion, to be free from past regrets, or ‘wrong-doings’, i receive forgiveness and accept new life free from that which is gone. I am also entering into a brand new season of life this September, changing jobs completely, changing cities, leaving my home, going after a dream that I have no clue what it’s going to turn out like. I feel nervous, uncertain, unqualified, but at the same time so happy to feel those things and for it to BE TOTALLY OKAY to feel those things – to be put into a circumstance where I have to totally trust on God to direct me each step…stepping out from financial security, the path that was laid out and secure before, that probably would have been a great road to travel down. This is definitely a new beginning even though i feel like the oldest i’ve ever been (cause it’s true!) but it’s also the youngest I’ll ever be – and so will every moment to come from here on out. So I’m grateful for the eternal and inner spiritual new beginnings that are new each day, also in nature, and also this one I am starting on this coming September as I move out to Chicago! We are blessed. I am blessed, may our hearts be always receiving ever new beginnings for our spirits..grace…unending
Babies…They are open to feel without any regard to hold back – they don’t have a reason to hold back any feeling – there’s no ‘me’ to protect or ‘other’ to possibly offend, just free to feel and express anything that arises in the moment. Babies…They are open to feel without any regard to hold back – they don’t have a reason to hold back any feeling – there’s no ‘me’ to protect or ‘other’ to possibly offend, just free to feel and express anything that arises in the moment. Having said that, it seems that the emotion that is most common in babies is joy! So that is cool to reflect on – that fact that joy is so natural for us creatures to experience, and (i might add) it is the most enjoyable. Most babies are loved well, shown attention and affection, and are able to trust their care-givers to keep them safe. So there is a very loving environment that allows for joy to freely blossom, and for the human spirit to feel and express its natural self without any hindrances. Let’s embrace the love, care and trusting support of life, people in our lives, each day, as to nourish the inner environment of our spirits to be free to experience and feel any emotion that comes up, and see how the joy will bubble up and surprise us more often than we might expect. …just some thoughts and observations on the topic, not sure if they are all true 🙂 We can receive the support and love of truth each day, as if truth were the loving presence of a parent of the inner little child that is our true eternal human spirit (eternal as in, the same when we were just born as it is when we are 92). May we create the receptive environment of love and truth and support somewhere in our lives each day, allowing space for that spontaneous nature within to spring to life naturally…As a seed naturally sprouts up without effort and can’t be anything other than the life is was created to be when its nestled in its proper growing environment. Although the outer world around us is constantly changing, taking us through tumultuous seasons, times of uncertainty and also high joyous times, there is an untouched inner wellspring that never changes, where conditions are eternal, giving life to the growing seed of our human spirit.
Hi Kevin, I just read this on a later post of this day’s ‘Question of the day’ thread posted by Gina to another person on this thread. Hi Kevin, I just read this on a later post of this day’s ‘Question of the day’ thread posted by Gina to another person on this thread. And after reading your comment, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to share it with you too in case you didn’t read it. “this is for you as I think I read that a friend of yours was diagnosed with a brain tumor … Today I received a video saying that a German female researcher found that methadone, a drug substitute, killed cancer cells in lab when given together with chemotherapy. They also interviewed a patient with a serious brain tumor who had been diagnosed some years ago and was supposed to die after only a year, but is now cancer free thanks to methadone given in addition to chemotherapy. They also interviewed a palliative doctor whose patients are living longer with it. Methadone was given to his patients as an analgetic. Pharma industry is not interested in research it seems as methadone doesn’t cost much. I hope your friend can be healed and I’m praying for her! Blessings to you as well, Gina!”
