Wholeheartedness is a continuous journey of awareness and self reflection that requires going through the “hole” to reach the “whole.” A very important teacher taught me that, Susan Harper. To go through the hole I need support, love and my own determination to heal. I faced my suffering, deep grief and rage and terror. As I allowed the honesty of my life to be felt in the deepest recesses of my body and mind, they transformed into the suffering of all people and I was left feeling compassion for life, for humanity and the human journey. I knew i was being held my the “whole” the Divine, the invisible help. There is no separation. My earthly experience is my Divine experience. When I meet myself with kindness and spaciousness, without judgement, comparison, blame or shame I am being wholehearted and can meet others with the same wholeheartedness. When I am incongruent, I practice and with practice, I become more wholehearted, more willing to risk just being who I am in this lifetimev- love. This is my lifetime practice. And reading everyone’s comments leaves me feeling so very hopeful for our children’s future and the future of our planet and I rest in gratitude for your reflections.
