Gratefulness
Today a stranger spoke to me cheerfully while we waited for our food to be prepared at a lunch vendor.
I could write a letter to my nephew. He is 10 years old. I think he would be happy, if I confirmed my donation to his read-a-thon goal with a hand written note.
What can I commit to not taking for granted, from this moment forward? This is a really hard one. I think I am going to try to not take my ability to walk for granted. Just putting one foot in front of the other is often a welcome activity that lessons the pain of the day.
