Gratefulness
Being outside, especially in the morning feeling a cool breeze, hearing the birds begin song, and the smell of the morning dew.
I have experienced forgiveness from my husband. I also have worked at forgiving myself, as I am my own harshest judge and jury. I believe if God is there I have received forgiveness for my shortcomings and transgressions. I know this is true because it is in the scripture and doctrine. I have experienced forgiveness from my husband. I also have worked at forgiving myself, as I am my own harshest judge and jury. I believe if God is there I have received forgiveness for my shortcomings and transgressions. I know this is true because it is in the scripture and doctrine. My spiritual live has been a more “cognitive” in nature for a long time now. I used to be very “spirit filled” and my walk with God involved a lot of deep “feeling” and “emotional”connection to my faith. In the last 10 or so years I have had to rely more on knowing and choosing to believe, though my walk is like a dry desert.
When I have a heart full of divinely inspired love and grace. This practice helps me arrive there, and ignoring the distractions of worldly expectations instead taking an attitude of forgiveness towards myself and my loved ones. Life feels soft and content.
I don’t suppose I see myself as wise. The things I have to say that I might want to say are more “lessons learned” or observations. Here is what comes to mind…. (1) if you are thinking or doing something that is opposite what “the world” or “pop culture” etc recommends you are probably on the right track (2) be yourself (3) remember you are not in charge, life is messy, be kind and forgive especially don’t forget to be kind and forgiving to yourself when examining imperfecti...
