Gratefulness
I very much appreciate this gift. Thank you!
Envy teaches me to be humble about my current situation and not to judge anyone. I can learn to enjoy where I am in my life and appreciate everyone and everything around me.
Happily living in my call to service.
To be in the present .. to enjoy the peace of ‘now’. Notice the beauty of life wherever I go.
Not to close my mind .. to always keep it open to new ideas, people, and places.
Myself; I think that, with learning gratitude, spreading love and kindness come hand in hand. However, remembering to also be kind to myself is a necessity that I tend to forget. Spread love and kindness to the world but also to yourself. =)
The goal to be a blessing in someone’s life. No matter how small, every smile or greeting you make can have a positive effect on someone. “live light, travel light, be the light.”
Yesterday when I told a patient I could only speak a little Spanish and I said, “Feliz Navidad”. He started laughing!
By being kind to everyone I meet and by giving respect and gratitude to the water, the trees, the plants, the wind, and the warmth of the sun.
By experiencing the joy and love from people with whom I’m given the opportunity to help in their challenging times; this inspires me and brings me joy.
Looking for the beauty in all things. Actively seeking the good in everything you see everyday. Meditation, prayer to God, the Universe, the Higher Self .. being actively involved in the present moment; knowing that anything past this present moment is not guaranteed.
Perseverance, strength, compassion, selfless service: I can use these strengths to help those in need or who are in a tough situation in their lives. I’m thankful that I’m given the opportunity to serve every day (being in the medical field) and that I can try to project healing love through my work.
The gift of life and the opportunity to help someone in some way.
Simplify. Enjoy the journey of this challenge and discover just how strong you can be.
The challenges of life. When I had no other choice but to either die or fight .. those times are when I felt the power of prayer.
That we all are able to work together for the greater good of everyone.
By being respectful and compassionate toward everyone I meet. Smiling and saying “hello” can go a long way with anyone I come across.
Rest. It’s okay to not push yourself for one day. Just rest.
Grace is the simplicity we find in all living things.
My Mom and Dad because they’ve always supported me and loved me through everything that’s happened. Thank you for their strength and love.
