Gratefulness
shelter, food, water, electricity, heat, easy transportation, …….I feel gratitude everyday for these……
by being grateful for the smallest things….. I start with that
With presence and gratitude
when I have fear and anxiety, rather than lashing out…..turn it around to noticing the wonderful small things that bring me joy…… Stop, Look, Go on……. reframe my world….
the plans, goals, to dos, for the new year……..
very present in the moment, not let me anxiety get the best of me…..
A feeling of peace and joy
Christmas Eve, my family and I were driving home and what would normally take 20 min.s to get home, took 3 hours due to bad ice weather. I had so much anxiety(I was driving), I was trying to keep calm, I turned on the radio. NPR had a segment with Brother David, his calm, grateful, wise demeanor…helped me to calm down and see that we were ok and to be grateful that we safe, warm and had each other…. *
