This morning i was gong upstairs to put my lingerie on the condo terrace and I met a woman, T, with whom I had a dialogue about some condo matters. in this condo, my father is the administrator, he keeps a sort of responsibility about financial matters and all other matter related to the normal life in such a little community (9 families). Luckily, we all have good relationships, we are friendly linked, and in a lot of situations we helped one another. T helps my father, she prepares the budget, that we approve during a meeting. she is so precise and she really takes care of my father, focused to get the things in the best way. After the meeting on the stairs, I rang up at her door and I thanked her, for her care of my father. She was moved and hugged me, I was moved and hugged her. We were grateful.
There is a place, not far from my home, where I went wit my husband, last Spring. We went there by foot. Extraordinary light of a starting Spring, extraordinary light of a simple place, not famous, a daily place, an oasis of peace, hills, trees, paths, between some great villages and not far from at least three cities. Sometimes the beauty is so close! I have just posted a photo on Gratitude Lounge.
I can offer myself more fully to the world when i forget the exaggerated consideration of “me” as essential to the care of the world. Even when I do volunteer activities I have to let go, or the presumption of my good power can lead me to a bad place, surely not a place of peace. My care of people, of environment, has to be founded on a humble participation in a Love that is higher than me. A transcendent love, that brings to a deep sense of interconnection, also when I am in fron...

very nice!
Many wishes Antoinette, may all your new experiences be well and give joy to your life.
Happy birthday to your daughter, dear Palm.
It often happens during the week end, dear Palm… I have been in the same circumstances during these days…????. I agree, in these moments, it needs a shift in our perspectives. And thank you for Anne Lamont’s reminder.
Yes, celebrate what I can do now that I could not last year….I will listen to your advice Aine, starting tomorrow…
Let go and relax dear Antoinette! I am with you, migraine is such a bad fellow… maybe when season are changing, everything is worse, at least, I believe that it is true for me. Take care! Smile at yourself in the morning, all shall be well (me too, I am trying my best….). )
I like your answer. I have never prayed for people who are not aware of their suffering. I can start now. Thank you Kathleen.
Dear Palm, don’t feel pressure, but if you can, just now I have posted a question about Louise Hay in the Gratitude Lounge. ????
Thank you Patjos!
A little image to tell my support: ????
A prayer for Mexico.
Dear Pilgrim, as always, your answer is so wise, and I like it in a special way. I was not here yesterday, and today it has been a busy Saturday. I would like to share something about this question, with you and also other people, but I am late,, I think that I will write something in the Gratitude Lounge, because I don’t want to take advantage of this space.
I completely agree with you Palm!
Very interesting! Thank you for this reflection, the point is to live with our differences. So wise. So true. It takes humility, too, and for this it is harder. On the other side, if I try to smooth these differences, I believe to be powerful, to have the authority to change other people. But who am I, for living with this presumption? maybe it is a result of the struggle between our basic survival instinct and the deep wish to a peaceful world. On the other side, if I try to smooth these differences, I believe to be powerful, to have the authority to change other people. But who am I, for living with this presumption? maybe it is a result of the struggle between our basic survival instinct and the deep wish to a peaceful world. Luckily we all have good Teachers (both in the past and in the present); we all have a brain, a heart, and the opportunity and possibility of awareness. May each of us nurture a desire of a true peaceful and grateful life.
“Beja flor”…. “Obrigada”, dear Maya. Three.wondeful words. They sound like music!
do you know “San Gennaro” miracle, Christina? Lately ( if I don’t mistake, yesterday), this miracle happened again, in Napoli. It is a very weird fact, and one can have faith or not, but surely it is not easy to explain. if you want, I have found an article in english, and this is the title: Famed blood miracle of San Gennaro unfolds again in Naples (cruxnow.com) Enjoy your trip and this event!
Happy birthday Michael, and thanks for your post!
