Gratefulness
I think the beauty is what I can feel with my heart. It’s a daily practice; see and find the beauty is like to search a treasures.
For example, last Sunday my dad was drunk, he is alcoholic. In first moment, when I looked his face and I saw he “walking crooked” I really felt sadness. But, I tried to find the love. I looked again and it happened! I could see my dad, his soul, a man marked by the struggles of life.
Despite the pain and everything involved,...
Despite the pain and everything involved, a story of life, my dad, a life, beauty.
Remembering the last daily questions, I realize every people help me when plant fruits, vegetables and flowers, reap them. Every people who work in order to provide the order and organization in the cities, states, countries, hospital… The people working in the factories producing every I need.
Thank you for this amazing meditation! Every day my thought about privilege is: I have access to running water and a privite bath in my house. All gifts mentioned here is completely truth and I notice them, I should kneel right now and giving thanks for all. Today I spoke again with my students about our ability to see, read, write, walk… I asked them, please, go and notice this beautiful world.
I was ironing clothes and I thinking about every people involved in the process… it’s really extraordinary thinking in the details with appreciation and gratitude.
Nothing is promised to us, is truly strong. Just to know it, sometimes I feel anxiety and I would like to do everything in a different way. But I can’t leave, I need to learn to be patient.
Compassion and kindness
Yesterday I went to the doctor, and after this, I took a cab. For my surprise, the driver was a old man. A japanese old man. I didn’t ask him, but I believe his age around 80. His hair is completely white, his voice is sweet and calm. And his moviments slow and calculated. During the travel, we talked about his “good times”… 30 years driving truck, after this, 29 driving car. When we arrived in my destination, he stopped the car, opened the glove compartmen...

When we arrived in my destination, he stopped the car, opened the glove compartment and showed me some pictures (black and white). Old pictures; his time in the army, beside his truck and new pictures (colorful), with his kids and grandchildren and great grandchildren. This moment was magical and very, very full of joy and admiration.
Remembering what Manda wrote; “Love is everywhere; a simple touch within the beauty of our heart, glittering, gold emanating and radiant”
My grandmother and my aunt Iolanda.
Being available, observing, respecting and not judging.
Breath and in up to a certain point, self-healing.
I really appreciated the word the day; “Wherever you go, go with all your heart”. So simple, so real, so necessary.
Giving thanks for a very nice physiotherapist I met yesterday. She took care of my back and I feel better, very better.
