Gratefulness
I am an Essene Christian ( read as Esoteric rather then Exoteric) referencing the teachings of Dr Stylianos Atteshlis (aka Daskalos)
How can tomorrow reflect what I am learning today?
When I complete my daily introspection this evening and the results compared with the Divine Laws of Wisdom and Divine Plan…the conclusions and corrections will become part of tomorrow’s applied services.
I don’t have Heroes but I do, instead of that, have people in mind who emulate by their words, actions and deeds “reminders” which keep me on the track of my own Self-Realization without adding to the confusion.
One such person said this …

“What distinguishes purely great human beings from ordinary people is that they let their lives shaped by their mystic insights. For instance, they may behave towards others as one behaves towards people to whom one belongs; they live gratefully aware of the goodness and beauty we encounter everywhere.”
This same source also confirmed ( by his blog yesterday ) that we can become “purely great human beings” while all the time being “playful” about it.

How can I be a source of delight for others?
Be referring them to to-day’s, Feature Article by Br David – “Let Us Play” and living the Truth within it.
These words of Brother David read like a breath of fresh mountain air for me!
His point regarding the so-called “education” systems and its effects on “saddling Joy” is so true. And thankfully there are currently numerous capable individuals pointing to this truth, the sterilization through education, so I will add this article to my growing list of powerful corresponding references and move to Br David’s more important, Christmas pointer.

The Power of Play. I wish to reflect on Brother David’s wisdom concerning “Let Us Play” by quoting another current and very remarkable source. His Holiness Pope Francis. This simple, short paragraph contains the importance of understanding that it is the Holy Spirit which gives LIFE to Life. Christos ( Logos ) is the manifestation of Life, in whatever form we wish to give it.
From his “Happiness in this Life”. Meeting with Seminarians and Novices July 6th, 2013
THE PLACE WHERE JOY IS BORN
I want to see one word to you, and that word is “joy.” Wherever there are consecrated people, seminarians, religious men and women, and young people, there is joy! There is always joy! It is the joy of freshness, the joy of following Jesus, the joy of the Holy Spirit gives us. There is joy! But, – – – where is joy born? For it is born….. On Saturday evening should I go home, or should I go out dancing with my old friends? Will joy be born from this? For a seminarian, for example? No? Or yes?
End Quote
I say “Yes!” to that and Dance wisdom, dance and play and celebrate the greatest gift of all, that of Being Human and therefore a “son of God”. The celebration of Christmas is simply that!

What vulnerabilities in others awaken my greatest impulse to be of service?
Exactly the same “vulnerabilities” which are in me. I can’t become aware of ( and therefore react by “awakening” or responding ) these unless they are there, dormant (as sub-consciousness), semi- dormant, or fully active consciously , within me too! I don’t have to name names either, all together they say who I am!.

This is why Joshua Emmanuel the Christ made only One Commandment, “Love thy neighbour as Thy self.” Straight up because he/she IS you in all the aspects which, make up every Human Being Including OUR “vulnerabilities”, potentialities, desires, etc, etc.
What communities bring me energy and joy? How can I help them thrive?
The aid organizations which I support with $donations$ and volunteer time. They are as much “community” in the truest sense of the word “Common” because they are a vital part of the total community. It maybe a bit much to say they bring me “joy” but when I see the faces of people who express their gratitude for the anonymous assistance they receive there is an “energy”...

It maybe a bit much to say they bring me “joy” but when I see the faces of people who express their gratitude for the anonymous assistance they receive there is an “energy” flow there in and it is as good as joy to me.
What can I look at with fresh eyes today?
That “what” for me is the “story”, repeated again and again this time of year, yes told BUT rarely , if ever, truly understood.
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. Saying, “where is he that is born King of the Jews “? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Matt. 2: 1-2)
It is ...
It is related that the Lord Buddha told his disciple Ananda that in five hundred years’ time God would be directly incarnated upon Earth. He made it clear that he was not referring to an ordinary human being reaching perfection through incarnations, but that God Himself would be directly incarnate.
Before the birth of Joshua, or Jesus as we know Him, certain wise men in the East, who knew of the Lord Buddha’s prophecy, had followed-through clairvoyance-the birth of the Virgin Mary and were awaiting the Incarnation of the Logos-God in expression.
One of these wise men was the Maharajah Ram, who with his friend and counsellor Chekitana, had calculated the time and place in Palestine where they must be in order to pay homage to the incarnate God. Ram appointed his mother and brother as joint regents in his kingdom and set out for Palestine, accompanied by Chekitana. Their way took them through Armenia, which in those days was divided into two warring kingdoms, ruled by two brothers, Kaspar and Dikran. When Ram had reconciled the two brothers, Kaspar appointed Dikran to rule both kingdoms and joined Ram and Chekitana on their pilgrimage. As they journeyed south, they met an astrologer, Baal Das Ashur (‘servant of God’), who wanted to accompany them, and they accepted him as their companion.
At the appointed time, they reached Palestine and although they were aware of Herod’s intentions, since they were able to read his thoughts, and had no need of information from him, Baal Das Ashur insisted that they should visit him. In the hope that their visit might alter his plans, Ram and Kaspar agreed.
Then they journeyed on to Bethlehem, where the three Magi found the stable in which Jesus had been born. The first to kneel before the manger was Ram. He took off his outer cloak and laid it at Christ’s feet, so that only his white undergarment remained. This is why the teachers of the Researchers of Truth wear a white robe, as a symbol of purity of intent and dedication. Ram then drew his sword, broke off the tip and placed it before the infant God, saying, ‘At Thine immaculate feet, 0 Logos, be all authority.’ This is the origin of the Sword of Initiation, which is without its sharp point.
As the other two wise men offered their gifts, Ram exclaimed, ‘Ham EI khior!’ which, in his language, meant, ‘I have seen God.’ From then on he was known by the name which has come down to us as Melchior.
What does it mean to live wholeheartedly?
“the ability to redefine the boundaries of possibility.”
therefore “Grace-fully”
“My body is a miracle of art, science, and mystery. What is it teaching me?”

It reminds me that although I am responsible to do my part in keeping it healthy, proper nutrition, exercise, rest, mental and physical cleaning etc., And by being conscious of the bodies ( all 3 ) they tell me my responsibilities are important but, compared with the work the Holy Spirit and the Archangels of the Elements are doing 24/7, keeping them in balance and harmony with the Divine Plan, my efforts are very very slight. This is a very powerful reminder of what it means to be a Human Being, It is equivalent to winning the lottery of the Universe.
For example it is impossible for my limited abilities to heal a simple cut on the hand….but the Holy Spirit will do it…and doesn’t care whether I am a Saint or criminal!
How Do I honor the interconnectedness of all life?
As a Researcher of Truth I made 7 promises to my self each day and try to Do them as consciously as possible.
These 7 promises include

serving the Divine Plan, be always ready to serve the Divine Plan meditating and contemplating Absolute Beingness, making good use of all my abilities, thoughts and words enduring patiently any trials tribulations, loving and serving others with my whole heart and Soul, ….
and at the end of each day…using visualization…..Investigating, (using the powers of Introspection), to check that all my desires, thoughts and actions to confirm where I did / or did not / honour these 7 promises.
What could I say today that I have been wanting to say for a long time?
Well if just one day qualifies as “a long time” that I reply to this question just as I did to the previous “question of the day”. ( 2017 12 10) “If I could live ONE day over, what day would it be? Why?”
EACH earthly life is but one more day in the ‘Classroom of LIFE”, and this current earthly life contains all the best of all previous lives so I am “living...
EACH earthly life is but one more day in the ‘Classroom of LIFE”, and this current earthly life contains all the best of all previous lives so I am “living them over” right now!
Re: “Why?”
It is because, as Butchner says in todays ‘Word or the day’, “Life is grace” and staying aware, observing Life’s graces is the way Home, “to the Holy”-ness of Being-ness.
“Listen to your life…touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments and life itself is grace.
FREDERICK BUECHNER
If I could live ONE day over, what day would it be? Why?
EACH earthly live is one more day in the classroom of LIFE, and this current earthly life contains all the best of all previous lives so I am “living them over” right now.
Listen to your life…touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments and life itself is grace. FREDERICK BUECHNER
Dear Kristi
Br David asked us, “What does “justicing” mean to you?
He put this question to us in his, “Deeper then words” after he loving review of Hopkins poem, “When Kingfisher’s catch fire…”….
quoting here ” the just man justices; Keeps grace: that keeps all his goings graces; Acts in God’s eye what in God’s eye he is Christ-for Christ plays in ten thousand places, Lovely in limbs, and lovely in eyes not his To the Father th...
quoting here ” the just man justices; Keeps grace: that keeps all his goings graces; Acts in God’s eye what in God’s eye he is Christ-for Christ plays in ten thousand places, Lovely in limbs, and lovely in eyes not his To the Father through the features of men’s faces.“
Br David explained that this poem helped him to remember that “Christ” was not another name for “Jesus”.
With Christmas approaching and the usual media play with those two names…”Christ” and “Jesus” I feel it important to connect Br David’s question to your .. “In this way, we can learn to live not just with gratitude, but from it; from that deep well of well-being which never dries up.”
With this connection I answer Br David this way ….”Justicing” mean “Christ-ing”. It means living, “from and with” gratitude, “from and with” service, “from and with” love, “from and with” grace, ………….I could go on for hours here, especially when I get to the “nots” such as ..”from and with” not fear, from and with not anger…..so I will stop here.
Your, “from and with” is, yes unfortunately, a “radically” important in to-day’s social communication world where it can easily be mistaken to think that by just putting opinions out ‘there’ one has accomplished something. The old adage, “Actions speak louder then words”, when the “actions” emanate ““from and with” Christ”, (in all Christ’s names), IS the true purpose of Mankind.
I Wish You and Yours a Safe and Joy-filled Christmas
My Desire-thought is the very same one as the one a year ago.“Absolute Harmony in the Noetical, the Psychical and the material worlds.”
And, since it is the time of year when when some do take the time to recognize what the significance of his “Birth” means …..I will add…..”Self Realization”.
“As long as we are dreaming and under the time and place illusions we cannot see ourselves in introspection, in looking within. Looking within? Christ said that the Kingdo...
“As long as we are dreaming and under the time and place illusions we cannot see ourselves in introspection, in looking within. Looking within? Christ said that the Kingdom of the Heavens, which is in us, is our own nature. Christ said also that we should seek the Kingdom of the Heavens within us and everything will be added to us. And I wish to emphasize that all those things will come. So, keep in your minds, what is really worth having is Self-Realization. “
Dear Matthew
I wish you well in your Quest for, what I as a researcher of Truth simply call, “Self Realization”.
I wish to share with you a practice the Ancient Essenes used, now called, “The 7 Promises of a Researcher of Truth”.
Anyone practicing these 7 promises will not find them easy ( they take life times to perfect ) but they will gradually become a beautiful fountain for gratitude to flow through.
The 7 Promises o...
The 7 Promises of a Researcher of Truth makes to him/her Self everyday
1) To serve, at all times and in all places, Absolute Beingness to whom I whole heartedly belong.
2) To be ready, at all times and in all places to serve the Divine Plan.
3) To make good use of the Divine Gifts of thought and words at all times, in all places and under all circumstances.
4) To endure patiently, without complaining, all forms of trials and tribulation which the most wise Divine Law may bestow upon me.
5) To love and serve my fellow human beings sincerely from the depths of my heart and Soul no matter what their behavior may be towards me.
6) To meditate and to contemplate daily Absolute Beingness, with the objective of total coordination of my thoughts, desires, words and actions with Its Divine Will.
7) To investigate and check every night whether all my thoughts, desires, words and actions are in absolute harmony with the Divine Law.
And further on in promise number 7. This is an added guide as to how introspection can be done. This really promotes the emanation called “gratitude” very well!
This has to be done in the evening just before going to sleep because this is when the egoism of the present day personality is at its weakest and your True self can watch and catch it at its self serving and survival tricks.
What did I think or feel that I should not have thought or felt? What did I not think or feel that I should have thought or felt?
What did I say that I should not have said? What did I not say that I should have said?
What did I do that I should not have done? What did I not do that I should have done?
What is this moment offering?
An opportunity to introspect on the deep Truth within to-day’s, ‘Word of the Day’.“
“As long as we’re rejecting ourselves and causing harm to our bodies and minds, there’s no point in talking about loving and accepting others.” THICH NHAT HANH

And to further this introspection……… I will also connect it with the tradition of the Christian celebration of Christ’s birth. Yes with all the symbols of lite candles and coloured lights and Angels everywhere, these do mean much, much more that simply surface decoration, they can promote deep healing, something very needed at this time.
Here is an exercise this puts those symbols to work and effect what Thich Nhat Hanh is pointing to and it will activate deep healing and then Loving others will be effective too.
This is an exercise that Joshua Immanuel the Christ, our beloved one, had given in Greek and in Aramaic. We shall use the English language.
Relax completely.
Start:
“The body is yours, not you. The holy Archangels and the Holy Spirit are sustaining it now. And they give you the right to use it as your own. It is your own: It is the temple of God -of God and of your Being-Self. Make this temple of God to have congregations of angelic elementals. Take away from this temple all human demons as evil elementals: jealousy, evil behavior, weaknesses, unbridled desires and emotions. Keep as congregation in this temple, in your body, human angels, good elementals. Create only good elementals in the light of love. In every temple there is a Holy of Holies. Make your heart the Holy of Holies of God. In the Holy of Holies there is also the altar. Make it in your heart. On the altar is burning the inextinguishable Life Light. The holy Archangels, they lit it in your heart. You are living -it is the pulse of life. Now we will light another wick in that lamp –your personality’s love for God and for all human beings around you. Live with these two flames of light in your lamp on the altar of your heart -love God and love all human beings.
Don’t allow that flame to flicker -keep it a perfect light.
.St Paul conveyed the ancient knowledge of Bodily Heath when he said, “every day I die and every day the holy Archangels of the elements are regenerating me.”
And he also spoke of the three bodies and their etheric centres and what is important in this knowledge is that, it is not the only the Human temporarily living in these three bodies ( Noetical, Psychical, physical ) it is these Intelligence St Paul points to ..the “Archangel of the Elements” who are doing their magnifac...

The Gratitude’s ‘Word of the Day’ on 2017 12 09 oints to this principle very, very, well so I will combine it with an Essence exercise and make it into a Christmas theme as well…
Malag, you travel in good company…
