Gratefulness
I liked this essay, but I have a question: If “love is as love does”, how does it come about that so many great poems, paintings, music, and more, are the result of “feelings of love”? Seems to me that feelings of love are also powerful. Just thinking aloud here…
An intimate and tender expression of the mystery of life, making us ever so conscious of each action, thought and movement we make.
Seeing life and humanity through this particular prism would make all of the difference in the world. I loved how Nicos expounds on this simple (but complex) idea with such grace and clarity and how he emphasizes the power we all hold as well as the role of our personal responsibility and being grateful for this fleeting life.
A great essay to remind us that the awareness of being Alive, rather than just living, makes all of the difference.
