Gratefulness
Loneliness is a word few use as there seems to be shame attached to the word ; ironically loneliness can be lessened through our thoughts….change our thoughts about the concept….if we do things alone…that is ok….it is our thoughts that make it messy or lonely….throughout my journey, I have left so many behind….I have few meaningful contacts…..hence I reach out to my biggest resource …which is me……and that’s OK…….
Today I look at being alive with fresh eyes ; today also marks the 5 year passing of my younger brother Brian. I miss him. Upon reflection of his early passing, I think that I continue to be here for a reason ….maybe to pass some light unto others….to be kind and empathetic …..and to learn my lessons with dignity and humility ….
A day when I felt the love from my son and daughter…..
Lately one of the kindest people I know was a stranger; she genuinely cared that I was looking for a home and went out of her way to offer support and suggestions. It lifted my spirits ; thank you stranger
…or as my mom would say ” just keep going …one foot in front of the other…”….such a wise sage my mom…..
