Gratefulness
Trevor, you are missed. I hope you are well. Either way I would love to hear from you on either this daily question side or in the gratefulness lounge. I am missing your input and wondering how you are doing. Peace to you, Mary
Trevor, haven’t heard from you in a while. I hope all is well with you. Mary
Right now my pale blue terry cloth isotoner slippers make me very happy. My feet are in heaven. After a busy day on my feet very soft slippers are truly a joy. Mary
Interesting question. I am not sure what the answer is. It seems like anything can be lost and anyone can die. I could say that there is life after death and I will never die. That is so abstract to me that I am not sure what I think about that. When my Dad died April 30 2010 I told the hospice worker that I did not know what to think about life and death and did not know where my Dad was. She told me that I needed to make a decision about what I believed. I don’t think about it much...

She told me that I needed to make a decision about what I believed. I don’t think about it much but I still don’t think I have decided. This question feels almost like a riddle to me. I will read the answers from others and maybe that will help me to have an answer. I have no wisdom to share on this topic, but I am ready to learn from others. Mary
I desire more energy. I commit to going to bed earlier this week- like 9:00. The other things I desire will be more within reach if I had more energy. Mary I just read what Mavorneen wrote- inner peace for me and peace for the world. That would truly be the best of the best. And I do commit to going to bed at 9:00 every night this upcoming week. Being more well rested will help with my sense of inner peace and everything that I would like to do. I will report back t...

Beautiful answer, Trevor. I noticed you haven’t posted since this post about a week ago. I always am interested in what you have to say. Hope all is well with you Trevor. Mary
There is something so wonderful about that. To have such a warm open moment of connection with some one you have never met. To have some one dare to be vulnerable and send genuine kindness your way.
So true! Mary
So, so beautiful, Ben. I have my issues with time. There never seems to be enough. I love the idea of letting go of clock time and reconnecting with the earth, being part of nature. I would like to spend more time in that space. Thanks so much for sharing this! Mary
Linda, that went so well! It is hard to tell how things will turn out. I am glad you took a chance! Mary
Wow, that sounds exciting and beautiful, Kevin! Mary
This answer feels good to me. Beautiful answer, Pilgrim. Mary
I would love to know how that turns out. You are very good to your husband Linda. Best wishes to you Mary
Ben, -open the door to belonging by a kind word, by sharing a laugh, or doing a small favor. So this is belonging by connecting. This is different from the way I usually think about belonging which involves fear of rejection. This sounds like we already do belong, we just need to connect in simple ways to be a part of one another’s lives. So this is meeting others with love instead of fear. I sometimes feel I don’t belong, which feels lonely, but looking at belonging through the eyes of love changes everything. It feels like the peace of knowing that we all are one and are not separate in the first place. This is a whole new way for me to think about belonging. Thanks fo the beautiful and insightful sharing,Ben. Much love, Mary
I so agree with you Mavorneen. I really cannot think of anything better for myself and for the world. Mary
