Gratefulness
I am preparing and organising paperwork for an operation to remove a fibroadenoma from my breast, I will never be fearless, I don’t want to be because fear can protect me from danger in many instances, but some times I can feel the fear and do what scares me anyway

I think Br. David said life is all about relationships, and more and more I realise how cultivating friendship enriches my life.

I love this question because some of us over commit to doing things/ jobs that are not meaningful to us, perhaps we haven’t found what that calling for service is and we just occupy our time with overdoing, just to feel we have worth. I tend to be particularly hard on myself about the choices that the younger me made. As Francine said, I also still need to work on this and forfgive the decisions I made based on the knowledge and experience I had at the time
I am nearly 50 and considering a career change, however, I haven’t yet got a clear direction, so your post gives me inspiration and hope, thanks Karen
I love the metaphor about the butterfly, letting go and freedom, especially because my little daughter has a particular interest in butterflies, it will be easier for me to remember to let go and also to let her be, thanks Carol
