Gratefulness
My answer would be that I definitely have regrets, but I have said “I am sorry” to the people I have hurt. As it says in “Conversations with God”-regret is instructive while guilt is debilitating. I am so grateful that by the Grace of God I have come to the point that I am able to say “I am sorry”. Wishing everyone a beautiful day!????
All possibilities and we get to choose. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone on The Gratefulness Team and all who share their reflections.????
This question uplifted and inspired me to savor the gift of the present moment, which is all we ever have. Thank-you to the Gratefulness Team f0r this question and thank-you to everyone for sharing your reflections!!!????
I no longer need to to be afraid to say no in the kindest way possible, when that is what feels right to me. I have always been such a ‘people pleaser’ and made myself miserable in the process. It took me over 60 years to learn that lesson, but I am so much happier now! Blessings to all.????
The splendor of simple everyday things I often do without really noticing-the feel of the water running over my hands, the smoothness of my skin as I wash my face, a breath going in and out of my body, so many things I do on ‘automatic pilot’. I will try to appreciate all that splendor today! Peace and blessings to all.????❤
This practice has been eye-opening for me and very helpful. I do not “want” alot of material things, but this made me notice that I “want” other things- I “want” someone to answer my e-mail, to act in a certain way, to thank me for something, etc. I am truly grateful for Today’s Practice!
I have such a growing and deepening appreciation for this beautiful life and all the blessings I have. I hope to share it by example. Thank-you to everyone for sharing your reflections!
When my Mom and Dad were terminally ill and suffering, Hospice was called in. They made the last days of my Mom and Dad’s life as comfortable as possible. They gave me and my family much support. Watching my Mom and Dad suffer was heartbreakng. Hospice gave the right kind of help when it was so needed and I am forever grateful to them.
