Gratefulness
I have learned that being grateful REALLY does change your life!! A quote I read said, “gratitude helps you see what is there, instead of what isn’t”. I am so grateful I have lived long enough to be grateful!!
The gorgeous bright red New Guinea Impatiens hanging basket on my patio I can see from where I am sitting now, the tablet on my lap and the miracle of modern technology that connects me to the world, the picture of my beloved Mom and Dad I can see from here where I am sitting- they are deceased, but are in my heart all the time! For these things and SO much more I am profoundly grateful each day!!!
What a beautiful, inspiring and uplifting article! Thank-you for reinforcing that each of us can make a difference!
I feel I am able to teach others ( most especially my family) that I am human, vulnerable and make mistakes, but I can also say “I am sorry”, learn and grow from my mistakes. I recently wrote a letter to my 3 siblings saying that anytime I have said or done hurtful things, it was my own inner pain being projected out to others. I thanked them for helping me to be the person I am today. Blessings to all.
Seeing the intricacy and beauty of a spider web! I am in awe that this small creature can weave something so beautiful! A miraculous sight to behold!
My daily walks on the quiet street where I live and seeing the dew on the morning grass, the colorful wildflowers, a bee going from flower to flower, seeing a child getting on the school bus and then going back to hug their Mother, so many simple, but beautiful things!! It uplifts and inspires me so much!
A wonderful sharing, Kevin! Thank-you!
Peace and blessings, Sheila ☺
That is wonderful, Deb! Everything is a blessing and we should also appreciate the momentary lapses, too! Everything can help us learn and grow!
