Gratefulness
I am practicing letting go and minor irritations in daily life, i.e. traffic, the rudeness of others, disappointments. I was rude to someone online because I misunderstood what they were expressing – I did apology and feel ashamed of my comment. The person is not accepting my apology but I feel a sense of peace because I did asked for forgiveness. It can be harder to forgive ourselves, even when our loving and merciful God has forgiven us!
In the midst of the heavy snowfall and often, risky driving we encounter here in Michigan, I want to be more grateful and recognize the immense beauty of all that nature brings to each season. I want to thank God, regardless of even because of, the different weather conditions we encounter. There is reason to notice and express gratitude in every situation and circumstance!
I am blessed with much unconditional love and acceptance. My children, siblings, and most of all my God.
May I keep you in my prayers regarding your concern Kathy? Peace of Christ be with you.
Good for you! My daughter is a Vegan and she has taught me so much about it. I am working on eating healthier and would like to follow her path.
That is so true Kathleen – I am a chaplain and firmly believe that we are responsible to take good care of this human temple our God has given us. I practice Yoga and other exercise, and I am always so amazed at how much more I am relaxed and restored after taking time for exercise!. I wish you the best in your exercise routine! God bless. Suzanne
