Suzanne Fabick6 years agoSuzanne FabickIn the midst of the heavy snowfall and often, risky driving we encounter here in Michigan, I want to be more grateful and recognize the immense beauty of all that nature brings to each season. I want to thank God, regardless of even because of, the different weather conditions we encounter. There is reason to notice and express gratitude in every situation and circumstance! 0 Reply Susan6 years agoSusanThis morning,, a friend of mine texted me from the hospital to let me know that her husband's 'heart surgery failed because they were not able to do the repairs.' And through respect…love is! ???? 1 Reply Lioness6 years agoLionessBy respecting others beliefs and opinions. Not always easy in this world of prejudice. I stopped to buy and talk to a Big Issue seller, other than my normal lady, and got ‘tutted’ by a passer by. I do not know why they tutted but the action towards us felt wrong. People so easily judge, including me sometimes, but surely we are all the same creation? 1 Reply Barbara6 years agoBarbaraExcuse my ignorance, but what is a Big Issue seller? 0 Reply Lioness6 years agoLionessThe Big Issue is a street newspaper in the UK. It is written by professional journalists and sold by homeless individuals to help them earn money. 0 Reply HB6 years agoHBThrough lovingkindness meditation, breath, and walks. 2 Reply John Turner6 years agoJohn TurnerAmong other things, I can be respectful to everyone–whether they’re known or unknown, and whether they deserve it or not. 4 Reply Hot Sauce6 years agoHot SauceI can honor the interconnectedness of all life by going vegan, a transition I am currently making. God-willing, next semester, I will speak with our school’s health expert, Amanda, and get some guidance on how to get started. Excited to be following a higher path of non-violence to all creatures! 6 Reply Erich6176 years agoErich617I have been vegan for five years. It’s a really positive step to take. Just remember to take a B-12 supplement. 0 Reply Suzanne Fabick6 years agoSuzanne FabickGood for you! My daughter is a Vegan and she has taught me so much about it. I am working on eating healthier and would like to follow her path. 1 Reply Francine Marie Tolf6 years agoFrancine Marie TolfHot Sauce, my veganism is so important to me – it’s truly part of my religion, and I never felt healthier plus I lost weight without even meaning to! I am finally living my values and that means everything. Don’t be too hard on yourself as you make this transition. It literally took me years. For me, the more I read about the animals and educated myself about how most are raised and slaughtered, the more resolve I had. Congratulations on this wonderful decision. 3 Reply Sheila6 years agoSheila❤❤❤???? 1 Reply Amor fati6 years agoAmor fatiI pray and meditate to and in the forest that surrounds me. Breathing exercises link me to the pulse of the silent, patient trees who strengthen my acceptance and adaptability to life. 4 Reply Francine Marie Tolf6 years agoFrancine Marie Tolf“The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works.” Respect all life. Keep a non-violent diet. Pray for those humans who work in factory farms and slaughter houses where the “kill line” must keep going no matter what. Many of these humans develop PTSD.
