Gratefulness
Happy new year to all of this lovely community ! I found this painting, Hinterglasmalerei, in Rome in an entrance hall to an officebuilding. And I enjoyed the colourfulness, the composition …. and the light that shines through it and makes into this marvellous picture. A beautiful synonym for our lives.
Does one exist without the other ? For me they are like two strings of wool woven into each other
Already als a child I was aware that I need a safe nest to which I can return to, like a bird . I lived in different places and countries, for many years with my partner in an old farmhouse, with our dogs and cat. But only now, after he died and I found myself often overwhemed with storms, broken down heating, mice….. did I find a flat up on the 5. floor, Where the birds fly and I have a view of about 70 km over the Black Forrest. Zürich is my third home, such a beautiful town with people from around the world, the mountains and the lake… This question makes me deeply grateful for all the possibilities I have had in ...

Nice to see you, dear Ose ! Happy New Year !
Awinchen agrees with the picture????
Dear Ose, your answers here are for me often very touching, deeply felt and in your openeness and courage “heroisch”. I’ve been reading this site for a long while, but was a bit shy to write. Today I’m in Zürich and this afternoon I sat opposite a lady in a cafe and I thought, this could be Ose… Amazing how deep these shared inner worlds bring Us together. Thank you for sharing.
Gracie, Anna !
