Gratefulness
Many kindnesses of many different people in the last weeks, and I think these kindnesses often reflected my own good mood and kindness! I want to get better at giving kindnesses to my closest family members, though!
Yesterday, when my son didn’t want to have lunch with us because a friend of his brother was invited to eat with us. I went in his room and told him it was important for me to have HIM with us. He wasn’t convinced and told me the friend was going to take his place at the table in order to be able to sit beside the little brother. I promised him to seek another solution, and did so. He didn’t want to participate either. Then, with patience and some humour I got through to him, and when he started smiling I knew I had won – without struggling or saying bad words. Lang, you do a fantastic work! Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful sounds with us in this gratefulness space! In our time which is so focused on words and image, it is so freeing and soothing to just listen to nature’s sounds! May you have an exciting, soothing and safe trip!
So romantic, Ben … and poetic! Thank you! ????????
Thank you, Anita! BLessings to you as well, Ursula
Thank you, Anna, for reminding me San Damiano. I remember that it was a wonderful place, and that, when I discovered it, decades ago, I felt such a wonderful rest and it had such a charm for me, much more than other places in Assisi …
Dear Kevin, having achieved a ‘comfortable level of peace’ is a great thing which requires quite some inner work. Concerning your homepage which I have already visited a few times, with photography and personal, sometimes philosophical and helpful stories and full.of your ‘life wisdom’ if I can use this expression, it is great and I am sure it’s helpful for many others. May you find a way to satisfy your inner longing existing yet! –
Beautiful to read that, Mary Pat! Especially that you desire doing what you are already doing, which means you are on the right path for yourself. And I agree fully with your desire for the world: See our fellow man as an equal … a part of the whole! – Thank you! Ursula PS. I don’t know if I wrote it already (I have had some computer problems recently), but I was very happy to read your good news recently!
