I am aware that i need to do this more often. I know i can be abrupt and short with my husband but often do not realise until i have said what i have said. Pausing would be good for me to take stock before i make comment.
I have long been aware that when I was working with people in a professional capacity, the longer my pause was before I responded to a particular situation the better the outcome was for everyone involved. In my personal life, however, there is always room for improvement in this department!
Situations happens all the time. My own thoughts sometimes made me crazy and I react for nothing…
I notice I’m able to pause when I listening my heart. Situations are noisy, but the heart whispers. So, I need keep silence in order to hear my heart, my best counselor. Only when I do this, I can pause.
Yes, I can. Hopefully I will.
I hope so. This is something I have been trying very hard to change. It’s gotten a little better. My goodness, today’s word for the day and this question speak to me in great volume. I want to ask, how did you know I need this today?
Thanks. Your contribution is a timely reminder of the many times I’ve also experienced this.
