Gratefulness
“Oh, where is the sea?”, the fishes cried, as they swam its crystal-clearness through.
Longing does little to enrich my life. It’s to close to desiring……a state that usually creates feelings of unrest. Longing, as i understand the definition, is associated even more with the unattainable and living in the future. However, right now i’m longing to have a simple way to reach this site without being asked for my password every day! So far, unattainable!l
All you need is love
I think i take for granted the sheer improbability of experiencing life in this meat suit. I rattle on about overpopulation a lot. Unfortunately, overpopulation also means that humans have become commonplace, instead of rare……..changing our perception of their worth.
I especially treasure friends who can share space without the need to fill it with conversation.
Letting go of all desires leaves space for the divine.

Gone from my screen too.and even from My Profile
I certainly hope Kevin is right…..that we do not “miss” life after it is gone.
I wait for God’s guidance. In this light, waiting is an empowered action
The yearning for connection….or, perhaps more accurately…. The yearning for reconnection.
I don’t see Kevin’s post. It reminds me of my gratitude for his steady, accessible wisdom.
Just before reading this I harvested greens for my daily salad….lettuce, kale, broccoli, parsley, cilantro, beets. During harvesting I remembered that this is a sacred task…separating the chosen plants from their existence in the garden among their “family”. I promised their energy I will make the best use I can of this transfer to MY energy family, to be endlessly transformed and reused within The One of which we are all a part.
I attempt to greet each new manifestation with: Welcome. What have you come to teach me?
Also MY first gift of the day….the sacred view of the great mountain forest that surrounds me. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
Absolutely! Giving love through my thoughts changes the world.
WELCOME !
I find this is especially necessary when I am cooking for others. In my desire to please I can forget that the gift for my guests comes not from me, but from the sacrificed lives….be they plant or animal…. that I prepare. A moment of repose for the cook gives me time to remember my priorities.
