Gratefulness
“Oh, where is the sea?”, the fishes cried, as they swam its crystal-clearness through.
The really cold air of Minnesota winter, caught in the fur of a cat who has just returned home.
Cats: Keepers of ancient Egyptian feline knowledge.
These answers are so beautiful.
How blessed…we all have felt grace’s gentle breeze even if we struggle to find a definition. How I love a joyful mystery!
Today I will pause before speaking, aware that the beauty that always surrounds me can have center stage if I get out of the way.
I have a dog who thinks,he’s a burro. He joins in whenever the valleys burros communicate. The inside or fruit always brings awe and gratitude. Such gifts!
Dear Ben, your compassion comes through to me (probably to all of us) so strongly that I truly feel cared for by your writings. A great resource.
My living gratitude is of one piece. There is no competition involving “more”..
What’s the “bonus question”?
Found it!
Smiling….even if I don’t feel like it, widens the crack that lets the light in
I stand as witness to the passage of extinct life forms. I honor and bless the incredible beauty if these energy manifestations, never to seen again.
This question, and your thoughtful responses, especially Kevin’s, prompted me to research the definition of the noun “value”. It seems to be connected to “worth”. So, I may have a value of punctuality and also one of honesty, but they are, to me of unequal worth. When the chips are down, I would rather maintain honesty than go for being on time! This question, and your thoughtful responses, especially Kevin’s, prompted me to research the definition of the noun “value”. It seems to be connected to “worth”. Happy Birthday ! We’re planning a joint birthday party for three more of us born in the sign of Libra. One is turning 26, one 40, and I’ll be 71. We are not related by blood, but by heart. Great gratitude for my many friendships that cross generational lines. Gratitude for you, too…a friend I have never met!

Absolutely…
How lovely…I deeply sense the presence of movement in the gift of grace
Oh, Francine………you’ve bathed my heart with unearned healing balm…..Grace, for sure. Blessings be.
Through 20 years in the two original 12-step programs, I’ve witnessed many times the healing powers of sponsor/sponsee relationships. Often the sponsor is the main recipient of the grace that flows to both parties. We are all each other’s teachers.
