Gratefulness
Love accepts who or what is without judgement. Love is like a tree ever growing, nurturing, sharing her fruits and protection to each individual or animal.
Resentments. Perfectionism. Material overload.
My father’s stories of growing up. His use of Arabic language, humor and wisdom. How he says ‘Don’t forget.’ to remind one that he still loves you. ♥
Pay attention to self-talk. Talk to myself like I would my children. With kindness and respect. Be gentle. Take time out to breathe.
This question stopped me and really made me think. My intention every day is to be honest, loving, kind and generous to those around me and to those I encounter along my journey.
Remembering to be grateful for every ability whether physical, emotional or spiritual allows me to believe in hope, and hope equates to faith and faith heals me. ♥️
The ocean. Wind. Walking. Meditation. Breathing. Prayer. Music. Hugs. Nature.
Waking up. Thoughts that run around in my head. Birds calling me out to play. Frogs in our pond. A new flower. A new song. My husband’s embrace. God’s whisper. Another day to share love, knowledge and Grace.
Peace.
Honesty.
Compassion.
Kindness.
Gratitude.
Love.
Faith.
Feeling grateful is that.. a feeling that fills my heart and soul with abundant joy. Being grateful is an active response to whatever or whomever I am grateful for.
Legs, ears, eyes, hands, all senses. Breath. Heart..Faith.
I feel optimistic when life is flowing smoothly. When my heart is lighter. When goals are achieved. When walking in nature or by the sea. ????????♥️
An awareness of how I speak to myself vs. others. I’m attempting to speak to myself and care for myself with care, kindness and be gentle. This is so foreign to me. Today I am grateful for this awareness and experience.
What touches me most with strangers – their kindness, their smile, the look in their eyes when it’s filled with compassion as they see me on a struggling day. That touches me the most. With loved ones? That they continue to love me even though I haven’t achieved perfection, and encourage me as I continue to reach for the heavens.
Eyes that see. A poem in my heart. The color of a robin’s egg. My husband’s support. My friend Lorraine. Words that flow effortlessly. Breath that flows freely. Our backyard pond. The birds song. It’s a Good Day.
Carol, thank you for sharing your poetry, and life experience. I have most definitely been caught up in a web, tangled with what fire to put out first before I can hear guidance in silence. Before I can fly again. Peace to you.
Deb… I love this. Thank you for sharing. I get up, when energy is with me to do so, and write. Sometimes I write prayers. Sometimes poetry. When I’m at peace within myself, I feel the presence and hear the voice of the Divine guiding me. I love this when it happens.
Sounds wonderful Christina. ☺️
Yay Christina! Good for you. I’m opening to the idea of a relationship with self that I’ve never had before and attempting to change the dialogue. It’s wonderful to hear who you are discovering actually resides within. Thank you for sharing.
Always the trees. <3
