Getting up at 6am and going for a walk in the countryside when the air is new and uncontaminated:) being alone at that time with the birds and the animals
The idea that you can do and be absolutly everything you want
That I am here, able to put one foot in front of the other… free… faith-filled… and loved.
I woke up at 2 in the morning and was a bit unsettled, then I read the interview on this site "Getting to Cleveland, a Gratutude Conversation with Seth Godin", this question is timely as I was wanting to share how much I enjoyed this article, particularly when he talks about when we say thank you to get even. It resonated because I often have trouble accepting a gift without feeling I need to give something back to the same person, whereas the gift could instead be passed on to others and become...

It resonated because I often have trouble accepting a gift without feeling I need to give something back to the same person, whereas the gift could instead be passed on to others and become an infinite chain of grace. So, this and, as always, reading Martha Beck settled me into sleep again.
Oh, and now the word of the day. Talking about freedom, this quote was liberating in itself. Thank you demo.gratefulness.org
The words of another.
The morning sun.
it’s another 24 hours to put forth positive energy and gratefulness!!!
I love, love, love the quote of the day by Toni Morrison. It reminded me of how much I love this author (i have read every book), how profound she often is in her observations, and how freedom brings a responsibility with it to make others free as well. I am totally inspired by this one sentence.
I am also inspired sitting in my backyard, surrounded by old, mighty oak trees towering above me. I know I am sitting on top of the roots of several of these trees because their spread is often wide...

I am inspired by this site and the daily reminder to be grateful and live in appreciation of oh so much. Thanks.
Enjoy your 4th everyone!
The opportunity of another day.
Eyes that see.
A poem in my heart.
The color of a robin’s egg.
My husband’s support.
My friend Lorraine.
Words that flow effortlessly.
Breath that flows freely.
Our backyard pond.
The birds song.
It’s a Good Day.
The tree outside my window inspires me to be still and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Always the trees. <3

“the function of freedom is to free someone else”……inspiring quote….
speaks to me of forgiveness, but to me forgiving others is really about freeing myself……….so I guess the inspiration is we all seek to forgive in order to be free….accepting this imperfect life that gives so much…..
I have just read a poem by Fernando Pessoa, speaking about imperfection in our life…and now I read your post, dear Gina. You are right. Imperfection gives so much to our Life, because it allows forgiveness.
Anna,
I am finding it hard to realize that I am vulnerable like all and that is the truth of imperfection…the hard part in realizing this is I see the challenges that make us all tender, insecure, and frightened and then I see the world is just a place where we get to see this when I choose, which makes me sad, and want to cry but that is much better than never having experienced life fully, so I take it as we all take good with the bad!
I understand Gina, there is a paradox in all this. Maybe there is a universal way to respond to this challenge: to stay in the moment, without going far from our center. There is a famous quote of Saint Paul, that – being Christian – I should hold in my heart when this paradox brings me some pain: our strength is in our weakness. Yet, it is easier to say, much more difficult to live. Love dear Gina.
yes ,yes, ” our strength is our weakness”,
Thank- you Anna for this inspiring quote….Love to you! ,
What has inspired me today?
same answer here as to the “What is Life” question yesterday
EVERYTHING
Today I’m inspired by freedom and it’s many opportunities and forms.
Today my intention for freedom comes in the form of clear seeing.
I trust implicitly my willingness, whatever may enter.
“The miracle of the holy instant lies in my willingness to let it be what it is. And in my willingness for this lies also my acceptance of myself as I Am I Am meant to be.”
Today and everyday, in Praise and Inspiration I focus my mind away from the ego. I will try to think:

“I who am host to God am worth of him.
He Who established His dwelling place in me created it as He would have it be.
It is not need for that I make it ready for Him, but only that I do not interfere with His plan to restore me my own awareness of my readiness, which is eternal.
I need add nothing to His plan. ”
What wonderful freedom! Hallelujah! Happy 4th of July !
I Am grateful. ????????
It’s a bit early…I have been up just twenty minutes! Thus far, I’m pleased that my brain, muscles and bones have cooperated enough to help me make tea and sit at my keyboard. Future inspirations to be announced.
