Gratefulness
An invitation to discover who we are, what our purpose is. A lifelong journey to fulfill that purpose with love, reverence, compassion and respect for all living beings, creatures and nature. To share our love and knowledge with others.
The sun shining through my window illuminating the lush green foliage in my pond. For my husband. For spinach and tomatoes growing in my garden. For my children. For the rains we’ve had this Spring. For the whisper within – I call Faith. For lots of things, but most of all, for eyes that see, legs that walk, ears that hear and a heart that feels. Thank you for this opportunity to recall what I am grateful for. Love to all… Anita
The miracle of light. The miracle of hearing the birds sing. The miracle of rain fallen and the earth rejoicing with a lushness of green grass, spinach in the garden and a full pond of happy goldfish and two frogs. The miracle of air in my lungs and eyes that see. The miracle of life in all its many forms.
It expands. ❤️
Myself. My mother. My father.
Be myself. Ask Faith to embody me in thought, word and deed. ????
Some one once asked me where I first felt safe in my life? My answer was under the Willow Tree. It’s branches protected me and provided a safe space where I could look out and light could still find me. My journal, bicycle and an hour alone gave me time and a safe and peaceful place to express my thoughts on paper while enjoying the safety of Willow. My love of poplars, oaks, maples, dogwoods and flowering tulips are a few more to name. I later created a blog site called www.NcTreesPhot...

I’ve been caring for others for as long as I can remember. At this particular time, there is close attention given to my father-in-law who is 97, and my husband who currently has a sinus infection. And this morning, a little self care is needed. Caring also includes a very long and universal prayer list for peace in every heart and home. Blessings and peace to all of you today all days.
When I am challenged beyond my comfort zone, and I trust God enough to let go, move forward and realize yet again, God is always with me.
When I’m in the woods walking and surrounded by nature.
In silence, when I open my ears and heart.
In deep gratitude.
When another is praying for me, and I, for them, and the prayers are answered. ????
Good to know. I’m not always afforded the time I need to share my thoughts with all of you. But, when I do, I am very grateful for these moments of ‘blessings’.
So true Kevin. Next month marks 1 year since breast cancer. The year has been full of opportunities to slow down and count the blessings around me and within. May you heal and return to your service.
Sending you well wishes Kevin. Day by day. Holding you in my heart at this moment and sending my prayers for healing to you.
So true Christina. I don’t know where I would be without the practice of of my 12 step program. Thank you for sharing.
Isn’t it true. I’m smiling with you. 🙂
How wonderful Kevin. Enjoy your day. With gratitude for your sharing. Anita
