that as I am dancing the sacred cherokee dance for alignment, balance and prayer, just the meaning og individual backbone and orgnisationel backbone appeared to be invetigated about. Looking forward to that.
Not today, but yesterday the walking together with a friend in a kind of recreated wild nature, where already many plants and animals settled. Inside there is this feeling of a beautiful miracle that this recreation of a lake`s shore is there now for the sake of nature itself. I still celebrate this, it is joy, as is the shared, intense time with my friend.
I just read all of today’s reflections–all quiet miracles and extremely helpful to me today. Thank you. Blessings always and all ways, Carol
Riding my bicycle to church on a warm sunny Sunday with people and natural beauty all around in full, relaxed bloom! ???? …
Fabulous day, enjoy it!
Thanks Anna, and best to you for another fine day and week ahead! …
My daughter finally playing quietly and happily on her own after an active, at times anxious, day.
The sun going down again.
I am eating a cherry picked from my little tree. It is the first season in which it is fruitful.
Enjoy!

that I can still speak face to face w my dad, that today has arrived, that my passion still burns, that despair doesn’t enter in, that the seemingly impossible always feels possible.
Today? Yep, that’s it!
For me this morning, the quiet miracle is the peacefulness in my mind and heart from a recent breakthrough in the morning sickness and anxiety I’ve experienced for the past year and a half, with the help of a skilled friend and willingness to see, and the hand of grace. The quiet miracle is that I woke today feeling whole and healthy and open to the mystery of what the day will bring. I am so grateful.
It sounds like you have been through a lot for the last year and a half. I am so happy to hear about your breakthrough. How wonderful to wake up feeling peaceful, to feel whole, healthy, open, and grateful. I am truly happy for you!
Mary
Thank you, Mary!
Forgiveness means letting go of the hope for a better past.

The quote of the day is a quite miracle.
You see, my demons keep showing me their faces. I'm grateful to finally welcome them in.
The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house

Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
A poem by Rumi.
Antoinette,
Thanks for your post! I too seem to be invited to make friends with those darn demons these days, to ‘welcome and entertain them all’, and to ‘meet them at the door laughing’!
I do hope there is more joy and lightness in befriending those darn demons. Hurrah for the path of forgiveness!
Warmest wishes for your day, and whoever you meet ????????…
KC
Thank you KC!
I’m saying, please to meet you! And how long would you like to stay? Make yourself completely comfortable.
It’s a truly amazing process and I never thought to stop fighting them off by the way I was busy or ran like I was in four triathlons! They just kept running along with me! Lol! But yesterday I stoped and opened the door to them!
And wow!
Wonderful Antoinette. I hope they continue to be friendly. Warmly, KC
That I have lived my life thus far.
my purple sand cherry and blueberry bushes have blossomed…..hoping for some miracle of pollination to occur so can eat blueberries after a few dormant years……
Hi Gina, So good to read your post today. I hope a happy crew of pollinators are finding their way to your blossoming blueberry bushes! Warmly, KC
Gina! So happy to read your post! Happy for a miracle outside your home.
Thank- you, Anna
So good to be part of the gratefulness community.
The miracle of songbirds having returned thousands of miles from their wintering grounds to summer in this fragmented wood patch…. right now I celebrate the ovenbird, the wood thrush, the red-eyed vireo, the blue-gray gnatcatcher, and the yellow-billed cuckoo. In the heavy silence just before a thunderstorm, they sing.
The miracle of light.
The miracle of hearing the birds sing.
The miracle of rain fallen and the earth rejoicing with a lushness of green grass, spinach in the garden and a full pond of happy goldfish and two frogs.
The miracle of air in my lungs and eyes that see.
The miracle of life in all its many forms.
Miracles all, and One. Beautiful reflection, thank you.
The sun has barely risen as I begin this new day. That is a miracle onto itself. In a few hours I will practice my faith in silence among other Quakers and that too, as the Spirit stirs among those in worship, is worthy of celebration. We will need to wait until the appointed hour to know whether or not quiet miracles also attend.
