Gratefulness
Maybe just by praising God more each day. Beginning to realize that He is in the “worldly” things, too (which–especially at Christmas time–I do love and enjoy!)
God forbid…God.
I would drive like a bandit, make left turns with impunity (the way it seems everybody else does!)
Oh man, struggle so much with impatience! Need to learn how to wait graciously–especially in traffic!!
I am in three 12-step programs. God has blessed me with a “sponsee,” (as we call them,) who is in a similar spiritual place as I. It is such a gift! We are currently reading and studying “How to Listen to God,” by Wally Paton, a simple, basic approach to meditation and prayer. I treasure these times, as does she.
The forecast today in NJ: “Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon.” Can appreciate more fully today those “generally sunny skies!”
Just wanted to say that whoever formulates these questions is doing a terrific job. They’re great; and not only that, but they’re different and engaging EVERY day!
Lovely, apt question at this season of giving. I think a good part of it for me is spiritual generosity: what I would describe as true, unbridled happiness at another’s good fortune. This such a precious gift to give others. I can give money, time, attention, unconditional love. There are so many ways to give. Two I struggle with are simple acceptance of others’ “differences” and giving up my place in the grocery line! Happy Season of Giving to all who stop here!
I guess the usual suspects: friendship (what a blessing!) family, nature, humans (how can you not love us!) Thanks to all who stop here. You teach me.
An abundance of good feeling, thankfully. (Sometimes I fear I am a little “too much.) Hope to share some of it at the Thanksgiving gathering.
The electric colors: the pinks, greens, oranges, yellows. Love ’em; my eye is always drawn to them. Life is hard enough–add a little color, I say!!
By loving the little cat with whom I share my life and condo. Greeting her with “Hello, Boo!” when we both awaken. (So glad a friend suggested I get her!)
I am a non-Hodgkin lymphoma survivor. Had lots of chemo, a stem cell transplant and a bone marrow transplant. Dr. Arnold Rubin gave me just the right kind of help when I needed it. He didn’t rush to surgery, didn’t rush to anything really. Just offered his renowned expertise just when I needed it. I am alive today some 15 years later because of his care. I guess two: the dream of partnership and of in time gaining a readership for my writing.
Thanks, guys!!
Love this one!!
Wow, that sounds intriguing. Do tell!
Wow, how lucky you are! Wonder what he’d have to say about spiritual doubt?
…and to you too, Sheila!! Thanx!
Thanks for your support Antoinette!
