Gratefulness
I can best nurture other things and/or people by nurturing my self and taking care of my own needs so I can be available for theirs.
Mindfulness has helped me to grow through acceptance. Acceptance to what is every moment leads to peace and serenity within. Am practicing this and getting better.
I have always had to worry about basic needs being met ever since I can remember.
I appreciate art of others in many forms…music, literacture, painting, crafts, fashion, architecture, the natural world, etc. There is much beauty. As a creator I have recently begun to paint and to write. Each moment within itself is a creation. We are the creators of all we see.
The wee hours of the morning…3-4 AM. It is quiet …the world is at rest and the energies are not so chaotic. I love the peace and serenity and the promise of the day to come.
Today I can let go of my concern for a future appointment by focusing in the moment. I can practice mindfulness and journal.
I tend to take people such as bus drivers and cashiers, etc for granted and am not always present when dealing with them. I can slow my pace some and look into their faces and inquire about their day and say thank you. I need to slow myself down.
I can express gratitude through love and joy and living a balanced live free from judgements.
The word I would focus on is appreciation. By having appreciation for all that is at the moment would bring gratitude, naturally!
I can best love the world by accepting and loving myself without conditions. Practice of forgiveness is essential.
I was once given an “expiration date ” and lived past it! Living every moment to its fullest and with intention is key. I would journal and meditate and spend my time with my beloved kitty Bugaboo. I would spend time in prayer and paint something.
Through acceptance. Everything is perfect just as it is. Refrain from judgement and simply accept what is, in the moment.
Yes, to look at something mindfully can shift my sense of gratitude immediately. So can a few deep breathes…it brings me back to the moment and that moment is what I make it.
Regrets can teach me how to let go and accept what is happening in the moment, for that is all that is real. Bring love to the regret and allow it to become free.
I commit myself to listen for that small voice that guides me. And for following it.
Along with a warm greeting and smile, I can generously tip the delivery man and thank him kindly.
I can cultivate peace in the midst of chaotic moments by connecting with my breathe and my heart center. Through that balance I can think loving kindness thoughts and bring love and compassion to the moment.
I can make time and space for silence today through meditation practice.
❤ Thank you and blessings! ❤
