Gratefulness
I am grateful, gratefulness found me at last!
What I learn from moments of awe is complete loss of the self, the presence of wonder fills me up and for that moment the world ceases to be. A lightness too I have noticed.
I am privileged to have free time on hand more than other people……I can spend time with people who need patient hearing. I am physically doing well so can help people older in my family with their house work or errands if any. I am privileged to have extra money which I can share with those in need. In what ever form I can contribute in someone’s wellness.
Gratefulness is a reminder of all that is gifted to us. Even ourselves. Gratefulness gives us a sense of being complete and whole. It takes our perception of inadequacy and insufficiency to completeness and sufficiency. Gratefulness makes our fear go away. Gratefulness gives us a sense of being in awe. Gratefulness makes our negative emotions also feel welcome.
Surrender or be grateful with all my emotions feelings sensations in me. Remind myself what is given to me, remind myself life is a gift and all things that come with it. Thank you brother David for the word life is a gift. Reminding me of Peace immediately when I think of this sentence.
So beautiful,
Beautiful. Thank you
Loved it thank you
So beautiful and heart warming.
Beautiful reminder
Thank you Mary. love and peace. Gargi
I laughed reading your post. Also we’re reminded of something you had written long time back…….I do not remember verbatim but something like this……to use our mind or give it enough exercise since it has been given to us along with you had written about the physical body exercise etc. When I am bored I remember your words and try and give it some healthy occupation I enjoy doing with it….Piano for me.
Beautiful, I guess also to remind us if we are not all grateful. For some of us strong emotions pull us in all directions.
The last paragraph always intrigues me……but slowly understanding it……. Developing an insight within to see the play of the unmanifested in the manifested around us
Thank you Jill your reflection helped me too
No I will like to be associated with gratitude lounge. Mary I truly believe help is between to people the helper and the one helped but in reality it is from that source of The ONE….I am open for I do not shy away from help and I do have a choice to withhold what I am not ready with but that does not really help. thank you and thank you. I will join you all at gratitude lounge
