Gratefulness
Beautiful reminder, we are made of star dust and come from the same misterious source, the thought makes my breath slow down and deeper, and so much looses relevance, it means inclusion.
Sounds silly but I was resenting a friend that added me in a whatsapp group without my permission. I forgive her and feel so free from the ugly feeling of resentment, thanks for the timely question !
My recent challenge of having reduced my working hours to concentrate on my daughter has forced me to say no to requests that I cannot afford due to limited resources and energy. This has been hard but contrary to my fears of being loved less for that, people have accepted and respected me, I would say more
Like the word of today, I am fortunate I can take a rest between two breaths and turn inwards in prayer for five minutes and that this can be the most relevant thing I could do today, just that
I have some enemies: loneliness, anxiety, fear. They pop in every now and then and I guess they are teaching me to trust love. Just yesterday loneliness visited, and remembering one of my friends made it dissipate.
That we cannot alone
My parents: food, a home, education, good values, most importantly love. I did not always see it this way
A cup of coffee, green and brown reddish trees I can see through the window because it’s autumn here, coworkers (mostly) silent on their computers ????
Some of my interactions lately have made me reflect about speaking more straight to the point and not going around to then finally say what I want to say or ask. The question today is a reminder
Finding it difficult to articulate my thoughts on this question, so thanks for the answers so far. I would only like to add a quote I wrote some time ago, although I can’t remember from where or who, and just found “Hope is the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out”
I have been finding it difficult to become still for a couple of weeks now, because I have been deeply affected by the current crisis of the country I grew up in: Venezuela. The opportunity I have noticed that comes from personal and collective crises is bravery. Here, I am being brave to write again and say this. From there, I am astonished to be learning of countless acts of collective bravery.
Good reminder also Ose, that although coming from the same source, we are all unique and our task here is to bring that
Thank you Mary, so much, yes we need to look deeper in ourselves, I will definetly look at Gary’s comment in the gratitude lounge, I have found help there before, for example, Ursula re-introduced me to Louise Hay who insists that changing your thoughts can change your life (which relates to what you said). I learned that she’s also overcome big challenges in life. Love, Palm
I like knowing the roots of words, thanks Ben, for this and also for your interesting insight
Deb, I’ve heard we cannot change people, only God can, and I can almost hear Love saying that you will be there for your daughter when that happens.
My old age dad is living with rheumatism pain, all the best with the op
Oh my…. yes
Will be thinking of you Anna ! ☺️
Oh, thanks so much for adding the credit !
