Gratefulness
Yesterday, I was thinking about the gifts from people on online communities, including this one and other support groups who promptly give information and offer help. I was also thinking of how can I give back. This question just reminded there was some information I had that could help and that I wanted to send back.
The question comes at a good time, I am feeling that a friendship is in jeopardy because of political and other differences. In my own stress trying to solve personal challenges, I may have made comments that were misunderstood. Reading the word of today, loving silence could have been a kinder option until I was ready to talk. Post edited: miracles happen when I write on this site. Today I am hopeful, we have found it difficult to get adecuate education for my daughter and, after her week visit at a gifted education school, they told us that they may be opening a smaller class for children that need extra support and that her visit helped them take this decision, which they had considered for a long time due to the big need for it. It is the only school of this type in the country
Peace of mind, peace of heart
After reading the beautiful reflections so far, it comes to mind the “letting go of cherished outcomes”
In a world that can feel dangerous and where the focus is usually on what goes wrong, reinforcing my tendency to see and expect that in the first place, gratefulness helps me take notice of the beauty, the freely given, the small miracles, and, as one of Louise Hay’s affirmations, that “life loves us”
My daughter finally playing quietly and happily on her own after an active, at times anxious, day. The sun going down again.
Would love to read your writings, meantime I am grateful you are sharing them here Ose
You made me smile Francine ????
Beautiful Ed, I didn’t know, thanks I will join
Thanks Aine ????
Thank you dear Anna, for your response, I was just wondering if I was the only one and you give me comfort. I also avoid the political subject, but I think it is fear of not being loved because of a different opinion, which of course doesn’t make sense. I am happy that your differences in the end did not affect a good friendship, it is good example needed these days
Thank you so much dear Anna, your words mean a lot to me, love, Palm
