Gratefulness
A friend has been sending me her essays. It is not a daily activity but I feel reverenve and peace when I read them, sensing that it is a divine creation coming through her. When I give her my comments, my langage is not casual but formal and respectful, as if saying “I honor the divine in you” A bit of what happens on this site too
With my daughter it is really proportional, the more I give, the more I am enriched
I have been thinking and hearing about this lately as the way to change the world, because it happens from the inside out, not the other way around, when we show our authentic, unique selves to the world. The thought that my uniqueness can ultimately be the most effective way to be of help in this troubled world makes me overcome worries of self-importance (to use Kevin’s words), treasure this uniqueness and see sharing it as a duty. The thought that my uniqueness can ultimately be the most effective way to be of help in this troubled world makes me overcome worries of self-importance (to use Kevin’s words), treasure this uniqueness and see sharing it as a duty. In other words, it helps me to show up, which is not always easy.

Earlier we had the question about insights and I thought “we cannot alone” then “who can you forgive today?” and I said the friend that added me in a group without permission. Turns out this group is a blessing and I am being inspired by getting into contact with old dear friends that are now living in different parts of the globe and this is making me feel less lonely and more resilient, together with this wonderful gratefulness community
Thank you Carol, I felt such peace reading your post
Yes Antoinette, they are great teachers, and I also worry that I focus a lot on parenting ???? but it is challenging and, as Francine commented to me once, there is nothing wrong with that.
So true for me too KC
Thank you Antoinette, and I will also keep in mind your pillars of freedom !
Absolutely !
Mary, your “soft skill” is what is desperately needed from teachers, in my view, at least in this part of the world
Thank you dear Ose
Oh dear Ose, please do, we cannot alone
Tear rolling on my face, I am so sorry for your loss and moved by your generosity in understanding that people around you must be feeling they don’t know how to help, yet are reaching out the best way they can. Praying for Mercy Shelly, and gentleness to yourself and for that light to keep shining for you
Bask in the joy of freedom Antoinette
Oh Anna, it is encouraging to hear this, I am asking those same things at present, and I trust the Spirit of Strength you called upon, will do the same for me and that I will also do what It asks from me, thank you dear Anna
Hope you are safe
Thanks for sharing!
This is heart warming dear Anna
