I love trees, everything about them. Since I was young and climbed them and wrote poetry about them. I am so connected to trees that I am certain I was tree in a previous life ???? The tree in my profile picture is one of my favorite trees that stands alone on a hilltop in California and every time I go home I visit this tree.
I love the Standing Ones! They are the lungs of our Mother and we need them. I spend time with them as often as I can. ????
Back in 2016 I was pleased to be invited by Gratefulness to write a story for their blog. It’s called “The Spiritual Strength of Trees.” Anything I might say about trees is contained in that article. I would add the direct link below, but this site usually strips out hyperlinks to avoid spammers and bots, a good practice actually. If interested, just type in “The Spiritual Strength of Trees” on the home page of Gratefulness.
I just read your article. I was wondering how to describe my experience with trees…you did it for me. I will forevermore think of trees as “silent, towering sentinels.”
Thank you, Barbara, for reading my story and your kind reply.
Thank you, Kevin. I found your story and look forward to reading it!
Thank you Kevin. I will check that out.
Be like a tree. Stay grounded. Connect with your roots. Turn over a new leaf. Bend before you break. Enjoy your unique beauty. Keep growing.
