When I could not at all behave like a good friend would have done, as it happened recently, being a better friend is essential, if at all this still is an option in the other one, and may be related friends as well. This is how I would hope to become a better friend to my friends: Letting my friends know not only that I feel deeply sorry for having caused such pain or may be even more difficult situations, but to reassure the other to really do all efforts necessary to change and to overcome the problem inside myself, through first trying to understand as good as possible why this could happen and then really leaving it behind and let it go, so that this won´t happen again. Through this leaving old habits of mind there could be open space for new things to come, with the opportunity to sharing deeper communion, joyful moments and working together, if it is still welcome to share and be friends, may be possibly even on a deeper level of understanding after a crisis. This of course, is something not in my hands, but I am offering all my heart. I humbly leave it to the other if it is accepted to go on as friends. The timely word for the day could not describe it better. I throw my dreams and all connected into the universe and let it fly, gratefully accepting whatever it is meant to be.
