Gratefulness
My wish is for love, understanding, and forgiveness to enter the heart of every person on Earth.
With kind words and a smile. It is easy, affordable, and always welcome. There are certainly more intricate ways; but this is something that ALL of us can do. ????????????
The thought that is coming to me right now is to ask ourselves “Is thing helping me or hurting me?” Realization, or accepting the fact that something is not contributing to our best self is the first step of letting go. A mental inventory is so helpful. Perhaps letting go of something g will help us give ourselves permission to let go of other things.
Rest, healthy diet, improved mobility
To me, grace is the essence of God’s love and light. It may be felt or sensed in times of gratitude, peace, and unconditional love.
I have certainly learned from my parents and family, my friends, and my teachers… but I believe my greatest teachers have been my students. They taught me countless lessons about life… determination… risk taking… forgiveness… perseverance… love. I taught everything from 1st grade to senior English. Each student gave me the challenge to help BOTH of us achieve our personal best. I feel so incredibly. blessed. ❤️
Always learning
I am with the “Overthinking Team.”
God is with me always. His light moves through me, for me, and with me. I am an expression of His love, and I have the opportunity each day to share that love with others. My talents, skills, and abilities are my unique gifts to share and celebrate.
Do my best. Stay present, aware of my feelings. Act, not react without consideration of outcomes. Practice gratitude. Focus.
Something that surprises me its when I do not react like I have in the past. Releasing old opinions or judgements and looking at things in a new way spontaneously makes me joyous! I realize I am on the way to being happier naturally.
I created a gratitude list on my computer. It is the BEST mood elevator. ???? It was fun to do… I recommend it to everyone. It is so important to look at what we already have, instead of constantly thinking about what we don’t have. That just leads to more “wanting.”
For me, it is the Golden Rule. I treat people the way I wish to be treated. It becomes mutually fulfilling because even if they do not treat me like that back, I know I am in integrity… and am at peace with that. 🙂
I have a real sense of peace in the dark. It slows me down and gives me the opportunity to think. I do a lot of reflecting in the dark. It always gives me internal light.
By staying in the moment, being present. Appreciating what I have right now will help me understand that beauty is ever-present.
An open heart and an open mind
I find joy in silence. It is peaceful and allows my mind to rest… sing… pray… and say, “Thank you, God. I am here, in this minute, with You.”
The first thing I do is breathe. ???? Then I remind myself to “act” instead of “react.” I am doing better and better with applying the ideas of The Four Agreements, ~ Be impeccable with my word ~ Don’t take things personally ~ Don’t make assumptions ~ Do my best When I stay within these parameters, I am productive and within integrity.
I tried to figure out the best way to do my list, so I set up columns on a Word document, and just made a list. Periodically, I alphabetize/sort it to see if things are showing up more than once. So far, I have 18 pages. I list anything I love… people, food, hobbies, shows, books, vacations, memories. I don’t do it every day… but when I do it is so neat. It is a blessing just knowing it is there. I am preparing to do some new journaling based on a wonderful book I read. It i...

It is a blessing just knowing it is there. I am preparing to do some new journaling based on a wonderful book I read. It is by Michael Jones. The title is The Seven Victories of the Divine Child. I recommend it! I took an all day seminar from him. He is awesome. 🙂 Best of luck with your journaling!!! *<{:^D-\–< (((
